Abstract: Analyze the existing problems of the valve body strength calculation and stress analysis on the basis of the valve status;briefly describe the conventional wall thickness calculation and mechanical analysis methods of the valve body;take the globe valve as an example to explore the valve body finite element analysis results under different conditions,and Compared with the conventional method,it is found that the finite element analysis can show the maximum stress value and position more intuitively and accurately,which provides an idea for improving the performance parameters of the valve body,saving materials and reducing costs.
