Abstract: The two major elements of critical thinking and creative thinking in the perspective of the key competency are drawing great attention from different countries in the world.Critical thinking focuses on reflection,while creative thinking focuses on seeking differences.Besides,they are both related to meta-cognition with certain personality factors.From the perspective of the key competency,building a curriculum which can integrate knowledge and thinking,carrying out the teaching of cultivating students’ thinking,creating a more relaxing and inclusive learning environment and training student’s thinking abilities are the effective strategies.
