Abstract: Since the January 25 Egyptian Revolution,Egyptian military forces have not only led the political process of the state,but also expanded its economic strength. As the forces w ith vested interests as w ell as the maintainer of existing system,Egyptian military forces are playing a dual role in political and economic restructuring. On the one hand,military forces are decisive in restoring political order and stable economic development. On the other hand,expanding of military forces and pow er politics may plant hidden dangers for future political turbulence. Special military economy w ill become an important obstacle standing in the w ay of future Egyptian economic reform.
