Abstract: In the perspective of strategic economy, Russia has important significance for China either of its active response towards the Silk Road Economic Belt, its domestic infrastructure construction,or of its energy supply, however, for which such factors as Russia’s fiscal capacity, economic system and its guard against the geopolitical situation in Central Asia all are potential restrictions and obstacles; In the perspective of strategic military, the rapid strengthening of Russia role also has important significance for China, nevertheless, which may cause indirect and far- reaching military rebound, namely, the corresponding aggravation of China- U. S. arms race in the Western Pacific, and increased doubts of the U. S. and its military allies about China ’s intention; In the perspective of geostrategic orientation,Russia,as China’s one of the most important strategic and diplomatic partners, can enhance China ’s geostrategic capability, but could damage China- U. S. and China- Europe relations, cause discontents and concerns of Central Asian and Eastern European nations, and thus China may be dragged by Russia into serious international disputes and risks which barely have significant strategic interests for China.
