Abstract: Origin-Destination matrix means passengers' trafifc path in metro. It’s an important basic data of trafifc planning and operation management. Through transaction records of the transportation card in AFC system, an origin-destination matrix can be established to get some indexes such as the number of times and dwell time at a station in a week. This paper analyzes phenomenon from praxiology according to subjective and objective behavior of using cards and presents countermeasures respectively, which can provide reference for operation management and ticketing policy.
