Abstract: Railway line survey is a typical strip topographical survey, the plan of railway line safety protection area is a special subject graphic and has great differences with other survey tasks. Taking the survey project of Beijing-Baotou railway line safety protection area as an example, the paper introduces the main contents delivered in the process of railway line survey and summarizes experiences learned from the strip topographical survey.
