PROSPECTIVE AND RECOMMENDATION FOR LEAD,ZINC SILVER AND GOLD ORE PROSPECTING IN HUANGJIAGOU-SHANGPUZI AREA OF SOUTHERN MANGLING

Abstract: According to existing geological data,six ore-bearing alteration zones are delineated in the Sichakou Formation of the Kuanping Group,in which 8 ore bodies containing lead-zinc-silvergold are discovered and the mineralized strata of strata-bound lead-zinc-copper are dominant in felsic sandstone and carbonaceous sandstone at the top of Triassic System in this area. It is predicted that the Sichakou Formation contains prospective ore resources of lead-zinc ≥200,000 tons,silver ≥2million tons and gold ≥5 tons,and the Triassic sandstone contains lead-zinc resources ≥1. 82 million tons.
