Abstract: Analysis of conventional water chemical composition indicates that the hydrochemical types of underground water in jade mining area of Hanzhong are dominant in HCO3-Ca · Mg and HCO3-Ca. The former occurs in dolomitic marble of the Mawozi Formation, belonging to slightly alkaline water, and the later in Jinningian intrusive rocks belonging to alkalescent very soft water. The both reach the standard of partial silicate mineral water.
