Abstract: Based on rock and structural combination and studies on petrochemistry and geochemistry of sedimentary,volcanic and metamorphic rocks,77sub-facies involved in 15 superior facies,6large facies that belong to 4 facies systems separately are partitioned in Shaanxi province. They are divided on the basis of superior tectonic facies by large-scale tectonics. The characteristics of each tectonic facies are discussed in this paper.
