Abstract: According to climate characteristics of hot-summer and cold-winter zone, comparative analysis on energy-saving technologies of residential building maintenance structure in Changsha was carried out by using eQUEST simulation. These technologies are exterior wall thermal insulation, solar radiation absorptance of exterior wall, area ratio of window to wall, categories of glazing and shading system, and a integrated scheme. The energy savings are 8.21% and 11.31% respectively, which indicate that inner shading and exterior wall thermal insulation have the best influence on decreasing energy consumption of air conditioning system. The integrated scheme may decrease the annual electric consumption of air conditioning system by 25.92%.
