Abstract: The characteristics of the refrigeration equipment and piping heat insulation of cold storage are summarized. By analyzing the cold storage fire accidents, which breakout due to various reasons including illegal electrical welding and cutting operation, the usage of naked flame and short circuit, etc; the primary causes are summarized and analyzed. Specific control measures are proposed, for example, raising the flame-retardant property of the combustible material, effectively controlling the ignition sources, portioning ignition sources and combustible material, and the fire under control, standardizing cold storage construction and operation management as well.
