Abstract: The 2016 National Working Conference on Vocational and Continuing Education convoked by the Ministry of Education in Guiyang of Guizhou province, not only is the first vocational education work conference after the“13th Five-Year Plan”has been issued by the central government that has made a comprehensive plan for the next five years of economic and social development, but also is the first working conference convoked by the vocational education front in the same site of Guizhou province after Xi Jinping, the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, inspected vocational education recently. The conference summarized the vocational and continuing education work during the“12th Five-Year Plan”period, and further clarified the thought of development of vocational and continuing education during the“13th Five-Year Plan”and made a work plan for 2016.
