Abstract: Taking research papers, works and projects on rural vocational education since 2013 as the sample, we found the main content of the attention of researchers are focusing on three aspects: summary of the current situation and problems of rural vocational education development, and put forward corresponding countermeasures; exploreing new situation and tasks faced by rural vocational education; pay more attention to the development and case study of a region. The main characteristics and problems are: the number of papers is presenting decreasing trends; the summary of the problem and the countermeasures is lack of new ideas; pay more attention to the regional research and case study; pay more attention to the migrant workers’ vocational education; international comparison research and rural vocational education history research is relatively weak.
