Abstract: The theory and form of free cooling system are introduced. Through the analysis about cooling load of interior zones in winter, fan coil unit condition modification,the temperature of cooling tower supply and return water and outdoor climatic parameter of Chengdu, discussion the applicability of the technique in the area of large commercial area in Chengdu. Taking an example project of economic and suggestions for the design and operation are given.
