Abstract: The purpose of this essay is to put forward a new method to alarm the concentration of PM2.5 exceeding the limit, which is based on the source, distribution and characteristics of particle sizes inside the civil buildings. This method, which is on the basis of membrane deformation, is to monitor the indoor concentration of PM2.5 and give an alarm when it exceeds the limit. In this case, there will be fewer persistent threats to the health of human beings. Design of the system includes the composition of the alarming system, the software design and the hardware design. It provides a high-qualified indoor air environment by giving alarms. What’s more, it’s both economical and convenient.
