Abstract: Installation of inverter air-conditioning on railbound vehicles, contrasting experiment with the existing fixed frequency air-conditioning. The experiment results show that the annual energy saving rate reached 27.58% of inverter air-conditioning. The temperature control precision is high in the passenger compartment installation of inverter air-conditioning, temperature fluctuation range is small, the comfortableness is improved. Inverter air conditioning unit has good economic benefits and application prospect in railbound vehicle.
