Abstract: This paper mainly studies the application of Softswitch in railway communication networks. It discusses the present situation and problems in railway communication switching system in China. Through comparison among the advantages, disadvantages and application ifelds of three kinds of switching technologies, it puts forward that the Softswitch technology is a developing trend of railway communication switching system and presents the application scheme of applying Softswitch in railway communication network.
