Abstract: Based on the site situation of speed-up switch applied on the ballast bed of Mapeng station of Wuhan Railway Bureau, this paper analyzes the damages and causes of incomplete closure between the tongue rail and the basic rail of the speed-up switch, recommends the solution of carrying out comprehensive maintenance and adjustment after removing the switch operating rod. It is proved that the solution is successful and do have certain referential signiifcance to the track and signaling comprehensive maintenance of railway lines.
