Abstract: This paper analyzes the coordination and matching of internal structure between specialty setting, enrollment and regional industry in Tangshan. Based on the theoretical analysis and the data from 2004 to 2013, the influence of the higher vocational education affecting on regional industry development in Tangshan are respectively analyzed with the method of co-integration test, error correction model, Granger causality test. The research findings indicated that, in Tangshan city, there is a co-integrated relationship between the higher vocational education and the industry development; the short-term promotion effect of higher vocational education scale is not significant to the industrial restructuring; and the higher vocational education scale does Granger cause the industrial restructuring.
