Abstract: Based on the survey data of peasant-workers in Beijing city in 2014,this paper aims to analyze the influence of heterogeneity of social capital on the occupation acquisition, occupation flow and occupation employment of peasant-workers. The study found that the employment of peasantworkers exist obvious occupation segmentation. We have divided the social capital into "the integrating type"and "the bridging type"and find the integrating type of social capital can promote the peasant-workers to realize low-level employment while the bridging type can reduce the possibility of low-level employment of peasant-workers. But both of them had no significant effect on peasant-workers access to high-level occupation and also cannot cause more occupation flow of peasant-workers. Meanwhile, the bridging type has noticeable positive effect on peasant workers’ occupation development, but the integrating type would restrict it. In addition, the education level, occupation training and work experience have the return effect on occupation development of peasant-workers.
