Abstract: Green skills are the skills needed that directly or indirectly reduce carbon emissions, reduce environmental impacts or that produce broader sustainability outcomes within business or the community such as better water management, greater care for biodiversity. The best way to develop green skills through TVET is to integrate the ideas in all teaching, and teachers should adopt new teaching models and re-organize teaching contents. In order to enhance the effective development of green skills, the government of China should provide policy support in the aspects of financial support, professional standards development and teacher training, etc.
