Abstract: The Chinese Vocational Education Society is the earliest group engaged in vocational education experimental activities in modern time of China. During the 1920s and 1930s, the Chinese Vocation school educational experiment and the Xugongqiao rural vocational education experimental activities in Kunshan, Jiangsu of the agency, further promoted the improvement the vocational educational purpose ,content , reform of method and quality of personnel training during the period of the Republic of China, also promoted creation of the Chinese vocational education theory and the exploration of vocational education mode with local characteristics. The Chinese Vocational Education Society played a great role in promoting the development of Chinese modern vocational education.
