Abstract: Objective: To investigate the expression of endoplasmic reticulum aminopeptidase(ERAP) 1 in the epidermis of the skin lesion of psoriasis vulgaris. Methods: Immunohistochemistry staining was used to detect the expression of ERAP1 in the epidermis of the skin lesion of the patients with psoriasis vulgaris of typical progressive and resting stages. Results:The expression levels of ERAP1 were both high in the epidermis of the skin lesion of the patients with psoriasis vulgaris in the two different stages, but the distribution varied histopathologically. Compared with the progressive stage, the ERAP1 expression was diffuse and uniform in the resting stage. Different from the resting stage, the ERAP1 expression in the progressive stage was stronger in the upper epidermis and weaker in the lower epidermis(χ2=19.53,P<0.001,OR=26.16). Conclusion:The expression of ERAP1 is different in the epidermis of the skin lesion of psoriasis vulgaris.
