Abstract: Islam provided fundamental base for Hamas’ platform.The Islamic radical ideologists,such as Hasan al-Banna,Sayyid Qutb,Abu A’la Mawdudi and Mohammad Izz ad-Din al-Qassam,had many significant influences on Hamas’ ideology.Firstly,al-Banna’s thoughts had effects on Hamas’ views on Islam,western countries,Jihad,and Islamic nation.Secondly,the Qutb’s ideas affected mainly on hamas’ views on Jahiliyah,Jihad,Allah’s sovereignty and the vanguard.Thirdly,Mawdudi’s influences were reflected on Hamas’ s Islamic state.Moreover,Qassam had significant impact on Hamas’ view on Jihad.However,there are a lot of differences between Hamas’ ideology and the thoughts of these Islamic radical ideologists.
