Abstract: The Middle East, the main energy supply part of the world, plays a very important role in the international energy system. The Chinese economy has made a rapid development since it adopted the reform and open-up policy. There is a dramatic increase in the Chinese energy demand in the recent years, therefore, the Middle East become more and more important to the Chinese Energy security. The Middle East becomes the Strategic base of The Silk Road Economic Belt and the Marine Silk Route strategy. The paper analyses some energy cooperation mechanisms, and the main problems in China and the Middle East energy cooperation, and give some suggestions on how to enhance the cooperation.
