Abstract: The ifrst two centuries of the Roman Empire (27 BC-2 c. AD) is the lfourishing period of this empire, during which its economy, culture, military and art all reached the climax, so this period is called as the“Pax Romana (Roman Peace)”Period. The stone tablets introduced in this paper were originally collected in the Museo Lapidario Maffeiano in Verona, Italy, and were entrusted to the Kriterion Company in Bologna, Italy to restore and conserve, in which the protecting processes of cleaning, completing and coating were conducted to these stone tablets.
