Abstract: Lubricating oil mixed with different proportions of methyl stearate ,methyl oleate and methyl linoleate respectively was conducted ,and then the oxidation process of lubricating oil was simulated through high temperature oxidation tests .The oxidation induction period and oxidation deterioration product composition of lubricating oil were analyzed with the rotating bomb method and Fourier infrared spectrum method .The results showed that unsaturated fatty acid methyl ester was more lia‐ble to accelerate oxidation deterioration of lubricating oil and its different quality levels had different influences on oxidation ve‐locity .and the influencing extent from large to small are CD 15W/40 + methyl linoleate ,CD 15W/40 + methyl oleate , CD 15W/40+methyl stearate and CD 15W/40 respectively .
