Abstract: Six sigma management technology is applied in the investigation of the relationship between hot metal silicon content and operational parameters. The primary influence factors are determined based on operational parameters from2500 m3 blast furnace in Tangsteel. The operational parameters are stabilized by carrying out improvements in production,and consequently the fluctuation of silicon content in hot metal is optimized.
