Abstract: Results of experimentation and some design considerations for a newly developed microwave solid-state signal Source is discussed.The microwave local Signal Source Shows very high long-term as Well as short term frcguency stability.It has been used in the field of MTI Radar and can Well be applied to Pulse Doppler Radars, communicat iou systems, electonic Precision measurement systems.Salient features of the microwave Power source are, all solid state, frequency stabilization through Phase Lock looP, and caPability of automatic tracking freguency variation of the transmitter.The Principles of frequency stabilization and guiding ideas in the design of the chief components of the system arc described.Some of the exaperimental results of the S band local power source are given.
