Abstract: In this paper is reported for the first time a new nucleophilic substitution reaction; substituting a secondary nitramino group on the aromatic ring with an azido group. By this reaction, 4, 6 ?dinitrobenzofuroxan(Ⅱ)and 6 ?nitrobenzodifuroxan(Ⅴ)are synthesized through new routes from tetryl and N -(3-chloro-2,4,6 ?trinitrophenyl) ?N’ ?(5 ?chloro ?2,4 ?dinitrophenyl) ethylene dinitramine(Ⅲ)The effects of dipole aprotic solvents on the reaction rate are also discussed in this article.
