SERS Label Method and its Application in the Biochemical Analysis

Abstract: Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)label method is a novel bioassay technology,which combines the modern bio-label technology and SERS spectroscopy.In present method,the signal of the Raman report mole cules, acting as the label tracer signal,is enhanced by adsorbing on the noble metal (i.e.Ag and Au)nanoparticles.With the advantages of high sensitivity,high specificity,fast and easy detection in biochemical analysis,the study on SERS label method has been a hot topic.Here,SERS labeling method has been introduced firstly and its applications recently in the labeled immunoassay,tumor targeting,DNA molecular recognition and microbiological detection have been reviewed.At last,future prospect in this field are indicated.
