Abstract: Aiming at the unbalance vibration caused by magnetic bearing rotor for wind turbine,the system dynamics model is established.Based on the theory of sliding mode variable structure,a sliding mode disturbance observer is de-signed to observe the disturbance quantity of magnetic bearing rotor system.The output of the observer is introduced in-to the magnetic bearing rotor system as a compensation signal to compensate unbalance vibration disturbance and torque of system.The simulation results show that the sliding mode variable structure disturbance observer can observe unbal-ance disturbance quickly and accurately,and the unbalance disturbance of rotor is reduced through compensation.
