Abstract: The high-boron iron based self-lubricating bearing composites with different contents of copper are pre-pared by using powder metallurgy press-sinter process, and the verification tests are carried out on end-face tribo-meter HDM20.The influence of Cu on microstructure, friction and wear behaviors of high -boron iron based sinter bearing materials are analyzed by using X-ray diffractometer ,SEMand EDS.The results show that the boride forming worsens the bonding strength of substrate and degrade mechanics and tribology properties. The copper forms alloy phase and plays the role of“binder”.The bonding strength, density and hardness of inner structure of composites coordinate appropriately when mass fraction of copper is 20%,which lead to excellent tribological properties.
