Abstract: Since the implementation of National Medium and Long-term Science and Technology Development Plan of China(2006-2020) in 2006, the ability of healthy breeding of livestock and fi sheries and disease prevention and control in China have made considerable progress, this paper reported the obtained experience, policy repose, overall layout and achievements. As well as the technical challenge in healthy breedin g of livestock and fi sheries and disease prevention and control, future development suggestions have been put forward in China.
