Abstract: In view of the shortcoming and deficiency of Perkins Act, Obama government issued “Investing in America’s Future: A Blueprint for Transforming Career and Technical Education”. The blueprint suggests that American career and technical education be transformed and reshaped with the guide of four core principles, which gist is to promote equity and quality across the effort of alignment, collaboration, accountability and innovation in order to ensure that more students have access to high-quality career and technical education. There are many remarkable points in the blueprint, and these highlights is worthy of following and reflecting.
