Abstract: The microbial lfora in rumen and gastrointestinal tract play an important part in the healthy of dairy cows. With the development of isolation and identiifcation of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and the study of characteristics of LAB, LAB used in the healthful aquaculture of dairy cows caused more attention of people. This paper summarized the diversity and probiotic mechanism of LAB in rumen and gastrointestinal tract of dairy cows, for the purpose of promoting the application of LAB in the healthful aquaculture of dairy cows.
