Abstract: A total of 360 Holstein cows were selected to study the effects of combined Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) on the improvement of dairy feed conversion ratio. Each cow was added 30g/d of combined probiotics of Lactobacillus casei HM-09 and Lactobacillus plantarum HM-10 with the viable count of 2.5×108 CFU/g, and continued feeding for 3 weeks. The results indicated that feeding LAB could enhance the milk producition and food consumption of Holstein cows, increase the feed conversion ratio and improve faeces values and feed digestibility. Therefore, combined LAB could be used widely with the characteristic of improvment the feed conversion ratio of Holstein cows.
