Abstract: Based on the perspective of spatial location selection, the author took Xinjiang,Central Asia,Russia and Mongolia as the objects of study and analyzed spatial cooperation and expansion mechanism of Xinjiang transnational tourism. On this basis, the paper put forward five typical cooperation models, including subsidiary center cooperation of Karsh, airport type cooperation of Urumqi, Yili River delta cooperation, transnational eco-tourism cooperation in Altay and linear cooperation along the Silk Road. With evolving of Tourism cooperation, recently, transnational tourism cooperation with China’s neighboring countries is leading a main trend in Xinjiang. Analyzing from spatial dimension, based on the primary identification of the leading factor of specific cooperative regions, the paper discussed the evolution characteristics of tourism cooperation in this region. The study shows that dynamic elements mainly includes geographic position vicinity, cultural identification, the complementarities and difference of tourism resources, tourist market that has huge potential, the driving force of economy and the guidance of policies and so on. These elements could be regarded as geo-driving force, economic driving force and organizational controlling force, which affect each other on different space-time scales, and thus formed the interaction dynamic system of tourism cooperation in this region. The author analyzed the trend of special-temporal evolution of the cooperation model, and showed that these models were only theoretical analysis of specific cooperative regions based on the general tourism cooperation in the whole region. However, in the practical process, the cooperative boundary is not clear and the cooperative style would be more complicated. As time goes on, tourism cooperation factors have constantly integrating and innovating, spatial construction models of tourism cooperation would also constantly update and upgrade.
