Abstract: Nobentonite is cheap and easy to prepare with strong adsorption. The technology of preparation of organobentonite is relatively mature now. The absorption properties and mechanisms of triadimefon with organobentonite were studied. The results indicate that the absorption isotherms of triadimefon with cationic-nonionic organobentonite are linear,which is mainly due to distribution effects. The magnitude of distribution effects is decided by the organic carbon contents in organobentonite,species and composing of surfactant. Absorption ability of triadimefon with cationic-nonionic organobentonite in water is the strongest with the highest organic carbon content. Cationic-nonionic organobentonite is expected to be a new technology to remove organic pesticides and other organic pollutant.
