Abstract: The thermal aging mechanism of catalytic converter was first analyzed and researched ,the design idea of bench rap-id aging cycle for specific conditions was put forward ,and the bench rapid aging cycle for Chinese road conditions was devel-oped .The results show that the aging for each real vehicle can be predicted by modifying some parameters in the basic shape of developed aging cycle and adjusting the aging time .
