Abstract: In the present study the angle restraint method is applied to improve welding HAZ toughness in steel 15MnMoVNRe.It is proved that the Charpy-Ⅴ impact energy of the restrained condition is over 20% higher than that of nonrestrained condition from lower temperature to room temperature.This is because the restraint increases Bs temperature,so that the(M-A)constituents are changed in morphology and in fine microstructure of welding HAZ.
