Abstract: The incubation eggs and pupae of mulberry wild silkwor m (Bombyx mandarina Moore)were radiated by using a certain dosage of He-Ne laser and were outbreeded with silkworm(Bombyx mori).The blood proteim and e sterase isoenzyme of their progeny was analyzed with PAGE,found some changes in band number and activity.Additionally,surveys of their cocoon and filament qu ality show variations compared with control plot,and mutants which have better f ilament legth and size were also obtained.All those indicated that He-Ne laser has some inductive effects on mulberry wild silkworm.
