Abstract: This paper analyzes and discusses the relationship between a subcritical crack propagation rate, crack length, as well as effects of temperature, grain size, atmosphere, etc. on the crack propagation rate by measuring the average width of striation quantitatively. In addition, it also introduces the fatigue fractures of different crack propagation stages in austenitive stainless steel at an elevated temperature and low cycle.
