Abstract: There is 19, 666 Ha. poor sandy in the ndd-dle of Changli County,with bad ecologic conditions and lowyield, Changli County began to sink wells,distribute elec-tric power, construct roads and plant shelterbelt in thisarea. Now, the production situation here has changed agreat deal.Having finished the infrastructure facilities, with theaim to promote development of the sandy land toward highstandard, high effieiency and crop plantation landscaping,ways and means have been searching, and 5 patterns wellutilizing sandy land have been found out, They are veg-ctable growing in green house, orchard surrounded bybrushes,cropping with spray or drip irrigation,ecologic en-viroment control with afforestion and livestock and poultrybreeding and farm an sideline produets processing, whichhavc been popularizcd in the county, and good result hasbeen achievcd.
