Abstract: According to the contcmporary features of urbanization, the teedency of "city -naturecoexistence"and"green-industry return",the paper deeply probes and studies the "metropo-lis -agriculture"development process of our country's big cities. Firstly the article survcysthe internal and external trends of "metropolis - agriculture"development, and explores itsbasic connotation and distinguished feature. Based on the market-guide and urban economicspatial development, the paper expounds the developmental prospect of "metropolis -agricul-ture"in our country's big cities. Finally the paper puts forth the basic countermeasure ofdeveloping our counrty's big city"metropolis-agriculture".
