Abstract: With the development of health care reform, the establishment of special hospitals has become a trend in Beijing and other regions with developed medical industry. The special hospitals get profits by making their specialized advantages as the breakthrough point and establishing brand effect. However, this kind of mode only highlights the advantages of specialized management without paying attention to the advantages of scale effect in public hospitals, which fail to form complementary advantages. The operating experiences of specialized department in public hospitals were introduced in this article. Through the integration of the specialized advantages of specialized department and the scale advantages of public hospital, a new profit growth point based on the improvement of health care was established.
