Abstract: With the support of internal department, surgical department and ICU, obstetrics department in large general hospitals, such as the obstetrics department of Ningbo First Hospital, are often selected as a regional center for treatment of pregnant and lying-in women with critical conditions. However, the large scale of general hospital as well as the complexity and diversity of pregnancy complications result in highly scattered distribution of pregnant and lying-in women in the hospital, which lead to the management issues, such as difficulties in tracking the pregnant and lying-in women and thus missing the optimal time to treat the pregnant and lying-in women. This article aims to introduce the comprehensive tracking management model built by our hospital, including how to track and manage pregnant and lying-in women in different areas of the hospitals, achieving full coverage. In addition, this paper aims to provide a reference for similar hospitals and obtain common improvement of pregnant and lying-in women management.
