Abstract: Objective To discuss the quality of social relation and medication compliance among patients who received kidney transplant as well as the relationship between quality of social relation and medication compliance so as to provide evidences for the intervention among patients who received kidney transplant.Methods Convenience sampling was adopted. A total of 105 patients who received kidney transplant were investigated through Social Relationship Quality Scale and Basel Assessment of Adherence with Immunosuppressive Medication Scale.Results The score of social relation quality was 43.62±11.14 among patients who received kidney transplant; the score of medication compliance was 20.40±3.65, and only 58.10% had good compliance; gender, education level and income were influencing factors of compliance; quality of social relation and its relative dimensions had positive correlation with compliance with statistically significance (P<0.05).Conclusions The higher the quality of social relation is, the better compliance of patients who received kidney transplant is. Interventions of patients' relationship with their family and friends can be adopted to improve medication compliance.
