Abstract: Hydraulic impact seriously endangers the safety of hammer and production, which produced during the forging hammer working process. This paper introduces the working principle of hydraulic forging hammer, analyzes the cause of producing hydraulic impact and the location of impact source in system, proposes the application of pressure unloading, accumulator absorbing shock and buffer throttling etc composite buffer absorbing shock technology in high frequency and large flow hydraulic system of hydraulic forging hammer, can complete-ly solve the hydraulic impact and has achieved good effect in the practical application.
