Abstract: This paper reveals the process of power transmission of deep-sea hydraulic power source by analysing its structure. Collected in-put parameters such as voltage, current, and output flow (set pressure) in the ground experiment of 3 series. By data fitting the test data of the motor, obtained PF’s formula under different load. Then, combined with the parameters of the pump and test data to calculate get the volumetric efficiency curve and efficiency curve. The results show that the total efficiency is low when the load is low. And the main reason is that low load motor’s mechanical and no-load core loss account larger proportion of the motor input power, so it push the motor efficien-cy down. And then affecting overall efficiency.
